We can provide fabricated Acrylic^®, Plexiglas^®, Lucite^®, and Cyro Acrylic objects to your specification. We will quote on your drawings.

We have a full inventory of Lucite^®, Acrylite^®, Plexiglas^®, and Polycarbonate sheets as well as engineered plastics. We also cary Acrylic fabrication kits.

We stock all sizes & colors and we can also cut stock to your sizes and ship anywhere in the USA. If we don’t have it, it probably doesn’t exist.

Inside Storm Windows

This year we are suggesting a less expensive, and more efficient Plexiglas^® Mounting System, for your inside storm windows. We have a 2″ wide easily removable non-residue clear tape, which effectively hold the Plexiglas^® in place, and seals against drafts 100%. A roll of tape is 2″ x 108″ long.

We recommend .093 (3/32) thick Plexiglas^®, for smaller windows, approximately 15 sq. feet or less. For the larger windows, we recommend .125 (1/8″) thick.

For porch enclosures, you can use corrugated heavy duty fiberglass. It is translucent non see through. For Plexiglas^®, the above mentioned window circumstances would apply.

Bullet Resistant Plastics

Unfortunately, security barriers have become a virtual necessity in areas where security is a problem.

We carry 1-1/4″ thick Acrylic sheets.

For somewhat lesser protection, but also effective, we stock transparent 1/2″ thick Polycarbonate.

We carry a product made by Sheffield Plastics, Inc. known as Hygard. This is a laminate, extremely effective for bullet resistance and comes in 3/4″ and 1-1/4″ thickness. It can only be priced on application depending on sizes required.

American Acrylics makes a pressed fiberglass sheet which is opaque, but can be used where see through is not a factor. It can be used in place of steel plate. Again, this can only be priced on a custom basis.

It should be noted and emphasized that none of the above products are “bullet proof.” The resistance is totally dependent on such things as caliber, angle of impact, etc. However, these products serve as a deterrent and provide a high degree of protection.
